After the second chapter I started skimming the pages and surprise surprise found the same poor quality throughout the short text. If you’re looking for “awesomeness” then look else where.

It reads like a porno written by a seventh grader. The protagonist is super powerful, right up until it suits the authors needs to make him weak. The sex is somewhat like "hi, how are you, let's have sex". No social development and the story is weak.

Adversity builds character, and the writer should really follow this idiom to write his books. Additionally, none of the characters really stand out; they are too poorly developed.This book is an okay read if the reader is into softcore harem stories. Otherwise, just skip it.

Not great story, basically no challlenges. To be fair, only awesome was pretty much what was on the label. Even the sex wasn't that great.

The building of the characters is slow but it's slowly gaining speed as more of them are added.The action is consistent.

1 star rated 1st because after reading a couple of chapters, I thought I had read this.A search of my records found a book called 'Adventures of Erik Part 1'.I do not like renaming a book if it is to get people to read it.If I like it and get book 2, I will consider changing the rating.I changed the rating to 4 because I like the story and the main character is 'cocky', just like me.

While the plot seemed to be ok, I couldn't get past the MANY spelling and grammar errors. I'm not sure who you had to do your editing, but they should be fired. I could only stand to read the first two chapters before returning this book. Find someone that knows how to edit and I'll consider reading this book again.

i needed this book for a class but decide to rent the book instead of using the kindle version. This book is well written and the subject matter is complete but it is written for someone who has almost zero knowledge of how a law office operates, including things like how much memory you should have in a computer to have it function well for the office. It is written for a level that is lower then something i would need to reference in the future so i decided to return the book and rent instead.

It's a course-required book, so I had to get it. Since its more of a introductory type of class I decided to rent it instead. It's pretty easy to read and has a great deal of up to date information in the legal industry. Technology has definitely evolved for the legal industry and it's only going to get better and more advance.

There's not really getting any better from here. Schnabel might be better for a beginner, but this is my second copy of this volume and I have the other volume as well. Both are superb.

Rated 4 1/2 stars:I'm still amazed at how cheap this is, considering it's a 296-page book. It contains Beethoven's first 15 piano sonatas and will provide hours and hours of entertainment at the piano.I love the fact that there are fingers all throughout the pieces (unlike the Schirmer edition), and that there is plenty of space for annotations. For this price, this edition is by far the best value.My only real complaint is that it doesn't lay flat. Many of the reviewers said it did, so I was expecting that. Even when I open it to the middle pages, I need a book on each side to hold the book open. Perhaps after years of use, it will wear down and stay open, but as a new book, don't expect it.

Not that this book should be expected to address a longstanding problem with piano books, but even with the lay-flat binding, the front pages will keep shutting (this is just a peeve of mine, probably doesn't bother most people). More importantly, this is my favorite version of Beethoven's Sonatas (this is my third book). In addition to the arrangement, which is most important, the fact that 1-15 are all included in this book is also nice. For me, that covers my most played pieces, though I still have to go to volume 2 for some of my favorites from time to time.

I am by no means an expert piano player, but am not interested in playing "easy" versions of anything, because they never sound right to me. I had a sheet music version of Moonlight Sonata, but wanted to try it and some of these other sonatas in a version that has good fingering tips. What surprised me about this edition was, even though the notes are all the same, this book has them written down a little differently, and more logically (to me). Notes that had been written on the treble staff, but way off the bottom on ledger lines in the other version, sometimes show up on the bass clef in this version, and I found it much easier to get my head (and fingers) around. You still have to play them with the right hand, but it just seems to flow better for me. There are also just enough fingering notations to get me through some of the harder bits. This probably sounds elementary to an advanced player, but it helped me immensely.

The fact that this volume can be purchased for less than 20 dollars, and it's good quality, it does a very good alternative for those who want to start with Beethoven sonatas. Heinrich Schenker did a great job in this edition, Good editing for a low price. I definitely recommend it.

I recommend buying both volumes of Ludwig van Beethoven Complete Piano Sonatas. The cost of the two volumes is roughly equal to buying 5 of the 32 sonatas piecemeal, and is well worth the investment. This particular edition is the one to which I always point my piano students. The clear print, minimal editorial markings, and durability of the book are exemplary. And the cover illustration is a nice touch, too.

This book contains all my favorite and classic Beethoven sonatas but the fingerings are not intuitive and don’t fit the hand naturally. If you want a cheaper and better option go to IMSLP. Their free scores have better fingerings than this book.

Okay so I can't even begin to describe how much I love this book. I am someone who typically does not read thriller type books but "Killing November" has changed my mind. I was able to participate in the ARC of this beautiful novel and now find myself so sad I must wait for the next installment. The character development, the plot, the twists, and the romance make this a must read. I found myself thinking about the story and where it goes from here. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!

Such an amazing book. I love everything from Adriana Mather and did not think i could love a book more than her HTHAW, but this book has it beat. Adriana went to great books to absolutely outdoing herself with a fantastic book. I cant wait to read more and really hope there will be another book.

Loved Adriana Mather's new book Killing November! if you've read any of Mather's previous books you know to expect a great mystery and fun, dynamic characters. In this story the main character November gets kidnapped and sent to an ancient school basically ran by a secret society. With November's world gone "Kansas bye-bye" she has to figure out not only how to fit in with the new crowd of dangerous kids, but also how to not get murdered by one of them - what can one say - that's the life of a teenager nowadays!

5 hours and 17 minutes.... what a short time to be in the world of Academy Absconditi, I was lucky enough to be part of the ARC for this book and what a great adventure ! I was drawn in within the first chapter, November is a great character and I am so in love with Ash, no matter what ! As with her other books, Adriana Mather was able to create characters so relatable and believable they were like old friends. I find myself wondering who I would be in the Academy and what alliances I would form, I can’t wait for book 2 so I can catch up with November and friends.

WOW! This book was something else. Adriana Mather really blew me away once again. I absolutely loved "How to Hang A Witch" and "Haunting The Deep", they were two books in a series about Samantha Mather and I 100% recommend reading those if you haven't already!! But "Killing November" gave me a totally new feeling while reading it, it was suspenseful and captivating while still keeping the elements of teenage life, family, and extraordinary storytelling by Adriana. It's every boy and girl's dream, perfect for all readers young and old. Each page keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.I loved getting to know the character Ash, he's such an interesting character and I absolutely fell in love with him right away!The main character November goes to an international academy that's far from the norm, and she has to find out how she fits into it all and why she's there. If you like drama, mystery and murder, this is the perfect book for you, and a little flirting and romance doesn't hurt either! November faces a constant struggle trying to figure out who's good and who's bad, and it's becoming life or death.Adriana focuses on really letting her readers get to know the main character November in this book and in my opinion, I feel like we really do know her. I feel like I can relate to her as a reader, and that's what makes a book great. This is a book that you just want to read over and over again, and never put down! I definitely recommend this book to anyone.

First, I would like to express how honored I am to have been a part of Adriana Mather’s ARC tour for her book Killing November.This book was extremely hard to put down. November finds herself in what can only be described as a leadership war she had no idea existed or that she knew she was a part of. She thought her father was sending her away for her own protection but found herself right in the middle of it all. She is brought to the International Academy Absconditi and is in even more danger that she ever thought she would be. This book is filled with danger and adventure, espionage and strategy, alliances and opposition, and most of all kinship. I already can’t wait for the second book.

The moment I started reading this book I didn't want to put it down! Adriana Mather is by far one of my favorite authors, and produces consistently great books. Killing November is full of action and there's never a dull moment. Its well written and you can tell she worked really hard to get all the details correct! I can't wait to read it again!

I loved this book!!!!!!!! I could not put it down. Had it not been for work I would have finished it in like a day. Lol but I love her other two books how to hang a witch and haunting the deep. So I already knew I would love it. The book just sucks you in and you won’t want to put it down. I highly recommend this book and her other two as well.
