This is a comprehensive, easy to read book on how to start a food truck business. It explains everything from legal regulations to financing. I highly recommend it!
Food Truck Strategy is relevant for what's happening now! Other food truck books on the market are dated and written in 2012. A must read for people that want to get a head start running their own truck without continuing to bump your head on stupid mistakes and waste valuable time/money.This book is setup like a military checklist of what you need to do to get started in the food truck business . For the price of two Tall Starbuck’s Café Lattes you have simple instructions on running your food truck. I love the pictures included in the book, great visualization on various aspects of a food truck business.

I have personally started over thirty-five nonprofits throughout these United States and am quite aware of what it takes to start and maintain a successful business, including reporting and tax proficiency. I came across this compact dynamo of a food truck entrepreneur that was written by an ex-naval officer who incidentally has ventured into the food truck arena. This is the "Food Truck for Dummies" inside track that is replete with every thing from construction to taxes with emphasis on you becoming the successful entrepreneur. Even if you're not looking to run a food truck, this insightful treatise could push you over the edge as it is a tell-all of information. Mr. Fulson doesn't tell you what he has heard but what he knows and he knows a lot about this business and he unequivocally shares with you his lessons of life in this venue. Mr. Fulson states, "America is in the middle of a transformation of convenience" and from his perspective you need to be on the right side of things in capturing a segment of this business. After reading through the book and zeroing in on the appendix of information that is related there, I surmised that if I had been his agent I would have enticed him to charge more money for the book but I believe wholeheartedly that his objective is more altruistic than money. If you're looking to start a business in these times and am unsure as to what direction that might take, and you're looking for ample direction in your quest, then do yourself a huge favor and read, "Food Truck Strategy" by Jeffery S. Fulson.

Having been bombarded with MLM opportunties and related "business opportunties", Food Truck Strategy is a breath of fresh air. By identifying and explaining sound business strategies, FTS has given comprehensive yet simple guidance to the aspiring entrepreneur. This is REAL business sense in an ever changing marketplace. I applaud this wonderful effort and agree with your assessment of the last 15 years. Some years ago a quote was discovered about the fast food marketplace that stated in part "...it will do in a pinch, but it will never last". Mr. Fulson is on the cutting edge of the marketplace. If the FTS industry is your desire, this is a "must read".
